About the Trainer

Dana Pearlman has been training dogs in Sonoma County since 2002. She has been specializing in behavioral problems and obedience for nine years. Dana's has a masters degree in psychology and a graduate certificate in animal behavior counseling and she has developed her approach through years of on going education and personal experience. Dana has a gift for connecting with animals and hey respond to her almost immediately. Dana will coach you on what you need to do to get the best out of our dog and ensure you have a chance to apply what you are learning throughout the process.

Penny is a different dog. She doesn't drive me nuts anymore, so I know she is doing well. She listens (most of the time), she will go in her bed all by herself and stay (big one), she will go in her bed when we tell her (bigger one), she doesn't follow me all over and doesn't get in my way when cooking dinner. She will go lay down and watch me from the doorway. She doesn't lay under the table while we eat. It's amazing!

She will heel when we go for a walk, but I usually let her walk freely and sniff. She loves that.

Sometimes we don't get out for a walk, so we walk around in the house and do training tricks and she loves it. Her aggressiveness is much better, because I know how to handle it now.
